I've traveled to Costa Rica several times, and always had great experiences, but that being said, my Vista Celestial experience blew away the others. The owners, Konrad and Jen, and the entire staff are so friendly and welcoming. They all really made me feel at home...so much so that 5 days weren't enough, and we extended our trip for 3 more days. The location is perfect, because it feels completely secluded, but it's not far from Dominical's fun bars and restaurants.

While we stayed with Vista Celestial we picked fruit and veggies fresh from the organic gardens, hiked, checked out hidden waterfalls, kayaked and boated through mangroves, zip lined, and had an overall blast. I want to go back asap. I only left a few days ago and I already miss it.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are villas, and share the same basic view, so you can't really go wrong

This place is seriously AMAZING! I'm a yoga teacher, and I decided to lead a retreat in Costa Rica this year. Jen, who owns Vista Celestial along with her husband Konrad, was a student of mine from years ago, and when I found out that they had opened a boutique hotel in Uvita, I knew it would be the perfect fit! The hotel really blew me away! Everything about it is modern, elegant, natural and beautiful. There is a lovely infinity pool with a swim up bar, overlooking the ocean and the wale's tail on the coast line. You're surrounded by nature - tropical birds and butterflies and heavenly old growth jungle. The villas have these drop dead views - you're greeted every morning by an ocean view. Definitely the best view I've ever had of anywhere I've ever stayed. Jen and Konrad are as sweet and hospitable as can be! I am so happy that they hosted my retreat! All of my students were over the moon about the accommodations and the hosts, and frequently asked about returning next year. Perfect, perfect, perfect!

Stayed March 2014, traveled with friends

Nestled above the scenic Playa Uvita, among the Primary rainforest, this hotel truly offers a one-of-a kind experience. Gorgeous views from each room, each with it's own private hot-tub, healthy organic meals, a yoga platform, and hiking trails through the rainforest are just some of the features I enjoyed during my stay. The staff was friendly, the service was impeccable, and the owners go out of their way to ensure a a great stay. Would highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable time in Costa Rica.

Stayed November 2015, traveled with friends

I spend most of my time traveling, and I'm lucky to say I've seen some beautiful places. There is something special about Vista Celestial that I haven't felt many times before. The views and villas are breathtaking with special attention to detail and preserving nature's beauty. The food was outstanding- healthy and fresh as well as delicious! Most of it grown organically on site. Within minutes of arriving the staff is already calling me by name, so attentive to anything we needed during our stay. The owners are beyond friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure that you are enjoying yourself. My favorite part was the yoga platform hidden in the jungle, followed by the private hot tub on my villa which I was sure to use daily. While I could have easily stayed on property all day, there are many things to do within a 15 minute drive- including several beaches, horseback riding, surfing, paddleboarding, and more!

If I could live there, I would.

This is by far an exceptional resort. The attention to detail from the staff knowing your name, to a vegetable garden where the majority of your meals come from. Everything was fabulous. The food the drinks, and the view!!!! Wow. Very romantic, very private. I highly recomend Vista Celestial.
