Chocolate Tour

Learn about traditional chocolate making from a local Costa Rican guide. You will experience the process hands on, from peeling the cacao to the final stages of grinding and heating. Your host will show you some cocoa plants in his garden. Includes chocolate sampling and a chocolate beverage.

Price: $50/pp

Time: 2-3 hours (tours usually start at 9:00am and 2:00pm daily)

What to wear: Comfortable clothes, Walking shoes

What to bring: Sunscreen, camera, water

• Please note that a cancellation fee will be charged for cancellation within 48 hours once a tour has been confirmed. (Based on the different tour providers cancellation policies the fee is up to 80% or 100% of the total cost)

• Transportation to the different tours is not included in the listed price. Local transportation starts at $20 one way.  Please inquire for pricing if you require assistance with transportation
