Vista Celestial guests can enjoy two exceptional full-service restaurants, the salon at Vista Celestial, and the adults-only clubhouse at Rancho Pacifico. Dining and drinking are integral to any stay at Vista Celestial, as both a way an immersion into the natural bounty that surrounds us, and a way of experiencing local culture and traditions.

Being in Vista Celestial’s salon is being immersed in a lush tropical garden. Greenery and flowers surround you on all sides, with a breathtaking view out to the Pacific Ocean. The eating and drinking experience emphasize freshness at all times of day. Start your day with a different smoothie every morning made with generous helpings of the freshest tropical fruit. Pair it with either a light and healthy or more indulgent breakfast dish. Lunch offers a selection of resort favorites, with tropical techniques and ingredients heavily featured. Dinner at Vista Celestial is a wonderful opportunity to relax at the end of a day in paradise and experience local ingredients and culture. The menu changes daily and heavily features local flavors such as coffee or cacao.

Rancho Pacifico’s clubhouse offers the perfect balance and contrast to the Vista Celestial salon. The elegant architecture leaves you with the impression that you are floating above the rainforest canopy with 270 degree views over the rainforest to the ocean below. The adults only happy hour is cheerfully hosted by our bartender of 17 years, Vianney, and is a wonderful place to spend time with old friends or make new ones. Dinner is a crown jewel. A sophisticated four course chef’s tasting menu that changes every day, highlighting some of the finest flavors and techniques globally, but always with a Costa Rican twist.

When you walk from your room through the tropical garden to our restaurant, there is a good chance you will see one of our team members picking fresh fruits that you will see on your plate only minutes later. Eating at Vista Celestial will give you an entirely new perspective on the flavor of a pineapple or passionfruit. If you never want to eat another one at home again… we’re sorry, but it will have been worth it! Depending on the season you might also discover guanabana, dragon fruit, or mangosteen.

For many of our guests, a highlight of their experience at Vista Celestial is our garden to table cooking demonstration. Our team members will show the fruits and vegetables in our gardens and given guests the opportunity to pick them and incorporate them into their food and drink that day. Sugar cane grows all year, and there is nothing quite as refreshing as a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) made with the sugar cane juice that you have just worked hard to press.

The salon serves three meals a day, as well as a selection of afternoon snacks. Dinner changes daily, and we are delighted to accommodate any dietary requirements.

Dining at Rancho Pacifico is a unique experience. The adults only restaurant brings a sophisticated touch to outdoor dining with a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. The dining experience begins with happy hour where you can try one of our freshly made signature cocktails or mocktails, enjoy one of our premium spirits, or have us make your favorite drink back home.
